Mount KAZBEK

Tour itinerary: Tbilisi → Stepantsminda → Tbilisi

    In the morning we begin a tour of the Georgian Military Road. Let's stop at the reservoir. Along the way, we will visit the Ananuri architectural complex - the former residence of the princes of the Church and the medieval towers of Ananuri. We are passing the village of Pasanauri. The peculiarity of this place is that two rivers join here, and each of them has its own color; when merging, the water flows parallel to each other for a long time without mixing. The surroundings of Stepantsminda (KazbeK) are very picturesque: the Terek River flows under the town, and the snowy peaks of the Caucasus rise above it, among which Kazbek Peak stands out brightly, 5033 meters high. Hiking and horse tours of the mountains are organized, etc. We will rise to the Trinity Church of Gergeti, located at an altitude of 2170 meters above sea level.
