Description of the tour
Tour itinerary: Kathmandu → Janakpur → Pokhara → Kathmandu
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the immigration process and transfer you to your hotel. You will receive a welcome drink and have a briefing about the program for your stay in Nepal. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and acclimatize to the surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The tour includes visits to Kathmandu City, where you can explore the historical and cultural sites, including temples, palaces, and old markets. You will also visit Swayambhunath Stupa, a sacred Buddhist site with panoramic views of the city, and Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. The tour concludes with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Janakpur
After breakfast, you will drive to Janakpur, which is approximately 225 kilometers away from Kathmandu. In Janakpur, you will visit the Janaki Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Sita, and the Ram Sita Bibaha Mandapa, a holy site associated with the marriage of Lord Ram and Sita. Overnight stay at the hotel in Janakpur.
Day 4: Janakpur to Chitwan
After breakfast, you will drive to Chitwan, which is around 180 kilometers away. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be welcomed with drinks and receive a briefing about the jungle activities. You will have the opportunity to participate in wildlife activities and explore the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chitwan.
Day 5: Chitwan to Lumbini
After breakfast, you will continue your jungle activities in Chitwan. After lunch, you will drive to Lumbini, which is approximately 130 kilometers away. In Lumbini, you will have leisure time to relax and explore the birthplace of Gautam Buddha at Mayadevi Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini.
Day 6: Lumbini to Pokhara
After breakfast, you will visit the birthplace of Gautam Buddha once again before driving to Pokhara, which is around 200 kilometers away. In Pokhara, you will have leisure time to enjoy the serene ambiance of the city and explore attractions such as Talbarahi, Gupteshwor Mahadev, Devi's Fall, Phewa Lake, and Bindhyabasini Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Pokhara
Early morning, you will drive to Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking sunrise view with magnificent mountain ranges. After returning to the hotel and having breakfast, you will proceed with a full-day sightseeing tour in Pokhara. The tour includes visits to various attractions in the city, allowing you to appreciate its natural beauty and cultural heritage. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu with Manakamana Temple Visit
After breakfast in Pokhara, you will start your journey back to Kathmandu. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the Manakamana Temple. This temple is located on a hilltop and is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Bhagwati. To reach the temple, you can take a cable car ride that offers scenic views of the surrounding landscapes. After visiting the temple, you will continue your drive to Kathmandu. In the evening, you will have free time to engage in your own activities and explore Kathmandu further. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 9: Departure Transfer
On the final day of the itinerary, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward departure flight. Our representative will assist you with the check-out process and ensure a smooth transfer to the airport. From there, you can board your flight and proceed with your journey back home or to your next destination.
