Tour itinerary: Kathmandu
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will assist you with immigration procedures and collect your luggage. From there, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Once you have settled in, there will be a tour briefing to provide you with essential information about your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to explore Thamel, the vibrant tourist market of Kathmandu city, where you can stroll through its narrow streets, browse through shops selling handicrafts, clothing, and souvenirs, and experience the local atmosphere.
Day 2: Pashupatinath Darshan and Bhaktapur Sightseeing, Drive to Nagarkot
After breakfast, you will visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its rich architectural beauty and spiritual significance. Following the temple visit, you will proceed to Bhaktapur, an ancient city known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and vibrant cultural heritage. Here, you can explore the city's Durbar Square, visit traditional temples, and admire intricate woodcarvings. In the afternoon, you will drive to Nagarkot, a hill station famous for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest on a clear day. You will spend the night in Nagarkot, enjoying the serene ambiance and breathtaking scenery.
Day 3: Drive from Nagarkot to Kathmandu, Patan City Sightseeing
In the morning, you will witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. Afterward, you will return to Kathmandu by road, enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Patan City, also known as Lalitpur. Patan is renowned for its ancient palaces, temples, and well-preserved Newari architecture. You can explore Patan Durbar Square, admire its intricately carved wooden structures, visit the Patan Museum to learn about the city's history and art, and immerse yourself in the local culture. In the evening, you will have free time to relax or explore more of Kathmandu at your leisure.
Day 4: Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kathmandu International Airport for your departure. This marks the end of your itinerary in Kathmandu, and you will proceed with your onward journey or return home, carrying unforgettable memories of your time in Nepal.
