Description of the tour

Tour itinerary: Kathmandu

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Rest and relax for the rest of the day.


Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, which takes around 6-7 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive through green hills, small villages, and alongside rivers. Arrive in Pokhara and check into your hotel. In the evening, explore the Lakeside area of Pokhara.


Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1,570m/5,150ft)

After breakfast, drive to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. From here, trek to Tikhedhunga, which takes around 4-5 hours. The trail passes through small villages and offers views of the Himalayan foothills. Stay overnight at a teahouse in Tikhedhunga.


Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020ft)

Today's trek is uphill and challenging. Trek to Ghorepani, which takes around 6-7 hours. The trail passes through dense forests of rhododendron and oak, and offers spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Stay overnight at a teahouse in Ghorepani.


Day 5: Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,530ft) and trek to Tadapani (2,610m/8,560ft)

Wake up early and hike to Poon Hill to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas. The view is breathtaking, with panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending some time at Poon Hill, trek to Tadapani, which takes around 4-5 hours. Stay overnight at a teahouse in Tadapani.


Day 6: Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m/6,360ft)

Today's trek is downhill and relatively easy. Trek to Ghandruk, which takes around 3-4 hours. The trail passes through small villages and offers views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. Stay overnight at a teahouse in Ghandruk.


Day 7: Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara

Trek to Nayapul, which takes around 4-5 hours, and then drive back to Pokhara. Rest and relax for the rest of the day. In the evening, explore the Lakeside area of Pokhara.


Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with the trekking team.


Day 9: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for your departure flight.
