Tour itinerary: Bukhara
Day 1 Walking tour of the old city.
The tour is partly on foot and partly by car. We will visit the historical sites of the old city, see the workshops of artisans of Bukhara, where you will be delighted with the unique works of wood carving masters, gold embroidery workshops, copper carving, suzani embroidery, puppet making workshop and jewelry workshops. And you can participate in the manufacturing process of any product. And if there are connoisseurs of miniatures, there is a chance to organize a master class on silk paper and take a piece of Bukhara with you. Optionally, you can visit the silk-winding factory and get acquainted with the production of silk products.
Tour duration: 6-7 hours
Day 2 Today there will be an opportunity to visit the summer residence of the Emir of Bukhara, Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa. The unique building combines the traditions of oriental architecture and the motives of Russian architecture. Then a visit to the mausoleum of the founder of the Sufi Bahouddin Nakshbandi and the house of F. Khodzhaev. We will plunge into the life of an old oriental house and, if desired, have an unforgettable photo session in traditional attire.
Tour duration: 3-4 hours
As it is a two-day tour, the transfer is needed for the second day of the tour. Entrance fee can be paid by guests themselves at the spots. As we visit functioning Muslim architectures during the tour , better to have covered shoulders and knees.
