See Durbar Squares at Patan, Bhaktapur, and Kathmandu to gain knowledge of Nepal's architecture, culture, and faiths. Admire magnificent palaces, temples, and stone and wood sculptures created by Newar craftsmen centuries ago, and learn about the effects of the 2015 earthquake on the area. The Narayanhiti Palace Museum, with its intricate architecture and sprawling grounds, holds within its walls a treasure trove of historical artifacts. Each room tells a story, from the opulent throne room where kings were crowned, to the elegant reception halls where lavish banquets were held. Itinerary Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is surrounded by spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries. The square surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples. Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is divided into three courtyards, and you will be visiting them one after another. It is filled with Newari Architecture and the local Newar community. Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Then, we will drive towards Bhaktapur and visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It takes around 25 minutes to reach Bhaktapur from Patan. Narayanhiti Royal Palace: Begin your visit inside the palace and gather knowledge regarding the history of Nepal. The Palace is divided into 3 sections, the guest wing, the state wing, and the private wing.
