At some point the building passed into the ownership of the city’s Benedictine community. The façade of the church, its balustrades, colonnades and staircases, showcase the beauty of the Baroque style. Beneath the vault of the building is a unique painting from the mid-18th century by D. Tukkari. According to local beliefs, it is from this temple by a hidden passage you can reach the monastery of St. Nicholas.
